To begin, mix together 3 ounces semi-sweet chocolate morsels with one stick or a 1/2 cup of unsalted butter at low heat until thoroughly melted. Let sit for at least fifteen minutes or duration of prepping other ingredients.

Next, crack 3 eggs in a large bowl; then add 1 cup sugar.

Measure 3/4 cup of brown sugar and combine with eggs and sugar in large bowl.

Add 1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract to the mixture.
